This Cookie Policy explains the small amounts of data Color Styling Studio keeps in your browser.
Cookies
The Tool itself sets no cookies — no tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.
Local storage (how we remember your work)
Instead of cookies, the Tool uses your browser's local storage — a small store kept on your own device — to remember your session: your chosen colour, scheme, palette, and skin/hair selections, so they're still there when you reload. This data:
- stays on your device and is never sent to us;
- is strictly functional — it only remembers your own work; it does not track or identify you;
- can be cleared any time via your browser's "clear site data" / "clear browsing data".
Because this storage is strictly necessary to provide the feature you asked for (keeping your work), it is generally exempt from prior-consent requirements under EU ePrivacy rules. We disclose it here for transparency.
Third-party (Google Fonts)
The Tool loads its fonts from Google Fonts. This does not set cookies in your browser, but your browser does connect to Google's servers to fetch the fonts, so Google may receive your IP address (see Google's Privacy Policy).
Third-party (YouTube tutorials)
Our Tutorials pages embed videos from YouTube, but they use a
click-to-play setup: nothing is loaded from YouTube until you actually tap a video to play
it. Until then, no YouTube cookies are set and no request is made to YouTube. When you choose
to play a video it loads in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and at that
point YouTube may set its own cookies and receive your IP address
(see Google's Privacy Policy).
So playing a video is your choice, and no video cookies are set unless you do.
Analytics (cookieless)
To count visits we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is cookieless — it sets no cookies and stores no personal data — and measures only aggregate things like page views, referring sites, country, and device type. Because it sets no cookies and doesn't identify you, it falls outside cookie-consent requirements; see the Privacy Policy for details.
If this changes
Our analytics are deliberately cookieless. If we ever add cookies — or analytics that set cookies or store personal data — we will update this policy and ask for your consent where it is required.
