The Sewing Stylist
Sublimation printing
Design your own printed bag in minutes. Pick a seamless pattern — for example from Shutterstock.com — set exactly how big it sits and where, try different colours, and preview it on the product before you order. I prepare your print-ready file, and if you’d like to sew the bag yourself, I also offer the bag pattern with a step-by-step tutorial — or a complete sewing kit.
- Play with it here. Upload your seamless design, set its real size on the product, turn it, change its colours.
- Download the preview. A watermarked picture of your choices + a ready order summary.
- Order on Etsy. Send me the original design with the summary — I make the production file (TIFF, CMYK) for the print shop.
1 · Product
2 · Your seamless design
Stays on your device — nothing is uploaded. You must own the licence for printing.
3 · Scale, direction & position
Position: centred — drag the design on the bag to move it.
4 · Colours (optional)
Upload a design first — its colours appear here, each one changeable.
Good to know
- The preview is a guide, not an exact match. Sublimation prints onto fabric, so the finished colours can look different from your screen — screens, inks and fabrics all vary, and some shades shift more than others. For colours that really matter, ask the print shop for a small sample before a full order.
- Your design never leaves your device on this page — the preview is made in your browser.
- You need the right licence for the design. For a bag you're making for yourself, a standard (personal) licence is normally enough — the extended / merchandise licence is only needed if the finished bags will be sold. Licence terms vary by stock site, so check before you buy.
- The preview is deliberately not print quality — the production file is prepared from your original design after the order.
- Colour changing works best on flat, graphic designs; photographic designs keep their original colours.
